Transit police have issued a new warning after discovering the subway platform inside a bus tracker is open to public view.

A transit police spokesperson told CBC News on Wednesday that a vehicle was parked outside the train platform.

The vehicle was towed by police after being identified as a bus in the subway.

The spokesperson said the vehicle had been parked outside of the platform in the southbound lane of the subway since early March and had been in the area for several months.

Transit police said they have been investigating whether the vehicle was stolen or if someone was trying to gain access.

A spokesperson for the city of Toronto told CBC Toronto on Wednesday afternoon that transit police have been in contact with the owner of the vehicle and that the TTC is looking into the matter.
